Dr. Hagee, if a widow received an inheritance of $53,000, would you gladly receive
some $49,000 in offerings from her?
If she fell on hard times and came to your church and asked for help, would you:
Return all or part of her gifts? Do everything you could to help her? Or would you
send her away, telling her to go find a social service agency that might help her?
Or would you promise another widow, 85-year old Ruth McGinnis, “Ruth, you know you'll
always live with us, and we'll always take care of you,” to get her to sign away
a $170,000 lien you owed her—and then kick her out broke and homeless?
What would be your judgment on such ungrateful, cold-hearted callousness? Would you
fellowship with such a “Christian” “minister”? Would you warn Christians not to throw
their money away supporting such a greedy “servant of God and man”?
What would Jesus do with someone who turned our Father’s House into a den of thieves?
