In Sheep’s Clothing

The GOOD News is we have redesigned our Home Page – actually TWO NEW Home Pages! It has lots of powerful features for you – it can take over a minute (an estimated 93 seconds average on a slower than average 512 K ADSL broadband) so most of you will only notice some very powerful surprises!

However, the newly redesigned Home One page can take 10 times longer to fully download – although you can enjoy or read certain parts while other sections are downloading.

That is why I have made this WELCOME HOME page the Home Page - out of respect and consideration for visitors with slower connections and slower hardware - to Choose Your Best Connection to start fromjust skip down. But I hope you will take a minute to Please Read This Note.

Mozilla FireFox, Internet Explorer (IE), Safari, etc. are constantly changing and sadly not one of them can take advantage of all of our improvements. For example, ONLY IE is capable of displaying the red and black slider bars we built in www.PeaceMakersNOW.org. But the 666 page on that same site in IE won’t recognize the neat floating [Go to Top] benefit. (Go figure.)

Only Firefox properly displays the animated icons up in the address bar; but Firefox often displays headlines as tiny type(?)!; and on and on. Whatever your favorite browser, generally if you keep up with latest upgrades you should enjoy a better web experience * from our pages and many other web developers who try to serve their viewers.

To try to provide as much Truth and Facts as possible to as many as possible (on almost 50 different web sites) –after doing my main vocation as a freelance writer for AMERICAN FREE PRESS and THE BARNES REVIEW trying to keep up with these web sites has become almost a 24/7 job for me personally - but as we solve more and more technical problems and redesign the basic structure and networks to make everything easier and more interesting for you and all of our other visitors––I hope to spend more time just adding more and more important content for you.

To accomplish some of these goals I have spent virtually every cent I could lay my hands on for the best possible hardware and software. It is a work of love, so I’ll keep on doing this work as long as God enables me. But if you want to help, any contribution to Good News Ministries, Box 88, London AR 72487 USA will be greatly appreciated.                      Thank you, Justice Ralph Forbes

GET STARTED RIGHT For YOU

#1 - Best Choice for Most! - Start Me on NEW Blessed Are the Peace Makers’ Home Page.

Everyoneincluding those with the slowest possible connections – who had an advance preview said it was well worth the extra minute or two to see the New Home Page. Also once they (and you) view it once, most of the information is stored in you computer cache, so it will load faster the next time you open that page. (It’s a good idea to Reload or View (usually your F5 Key) – because if we add something important you won’t know about it because a lazy browser (most often, Safari, will assume the cached page is current and doesn’t bother to check if there were updates.

#2 - Better Choice for Folks with moderately good connection Speeds: - Start Me on NEW Blessed Are the Peace Makers’ Home Life Page. {18 seconds for 512 K Broadband or up to 176 seconds for 56 K modem phone lines}

#3 - Good Choice for Folks with the slowest connections and oldest, slower computers: - Start Me on Original Blessed Are the Peace Makers’ WWJD Home Page. {Broadband 12 seconds; Or 115 seconds for modem land line.}

*Note: IE 7 was much better than IE 8 in my opinion. Sometimes upgrades can cause problems. I’ve been building computers and writing programs for 30 years – and when a computer is running right it is sweet. But I am constantly called upon to fix junk that is misery. Assuming decent hardware most problems are software junk, deliberate harmful malware (yes Macs can get infected with viruses, too!). Good up-to-date anti-virus, anti-spam is a necessity. A good registry program can solve a lot of problems. Beware of criminals who make software that claims you have problems – and promises to fix them – but when loaded cause worse problems on purpose.
